Our electronic health records for patients
We launched our new patient electronic health record system, Epic, on 5 October.
Epic brings together hundreds of different systems from across our hospitals and community services. Epic will allow us to keep your information in one secure place, and to share your record safely and quickly with people involved in your care, making your experience as a patient with us smoother, safer and more convenient.
What patients need to know
As we launch Epic, you might notice some differences in the way we communicate with you and at appointments.
There might also be some longer waiting times as we get used to the new system.
